This shaving bowl was created through collaboration with pottery masters, an intangible cultural asset of Korea.
Creator introduction
Gwangju Metropolitan City Intangible Cultural Heritage No. 5 Celadon skill holder, trained for 20 years as a disciple of the late Cho Ki-jeong
- 1987 : Mudeungdoyo celadon skill class
- 1995 : Intangible cultural festival Celadon skill holder transfer
- 1996 : Visited by Korean delegation to Arida Dojo, Japan
- 1997: Visited by a delegation from Gwangju Metropolitan City for cultural exchange in Sen Antonio, USA, demonstrated pottery, awarded an honorary mayor's certificate
- 1999 : Head of Production Department of Mudeung Sandpiper
- 2001: Intangible cultural festival Celadon skill holder completion
- 2003 : Mudeungshoyo Managing Director
- 2006: Intangible cultural festival celadon skill holder training
- 2008 : Operation of the Mudeung Island workshop and experiential learning center
- 2011 : Graduated from the 72nd class of Daeil Carnegie, selected for the Mudeung Art Competition
- 2012 : Received the Seoul Academy Fine Arts Association Chairman’s Award
- 2012 : CEO of Sunchang Ceramics

Detailed work is required through the harmony of glaze and fire.
The inside of the bowl is curved to facilitate leathering.
It is characterized by an exquisite curve on the side so that the leather does not overflow.
It is a size that is easy to hold with one hand for an adult male.
(* Due to the nature of handmade ceramics, there is a slight difference in size for each product.)
It is a natural soil selected by artisans, and kiln work is carried out three times at high heat.
All processes are 100% handmade,
It takes about 1 month for one bowl to be born.
Due to the nature of ceramics, these are special shaving bowls with different patterns and sizes.
Since limited quantities are produced to maintain quality, securing stock may not be smooth.
Please understand this.
The safety of this product was recognized through certification of non-detection of harmful substances in major materials such as soil and glaze.
