The HWAYEON SOAP brand was founded by a scientist who has been researching new drug development for over 30 years at the National Research Institute of Chemical Technology in Korea.

Founded in 2020, he began making and selling gentle, high-quality handmade soaps.

Currently, his son is researching and developing a sub-brand, "TERRY'S SOAP," a classic shaving soap.

HWAYEON SOAP CO. strives to produce high quality soap using its own unique soap-making method.

TERRY is a favorite English name of the brand's creator.

When he was a high school student, he happened to see Chelsea's John Terry on TV. 

His impressive performance left a lasting impression on him, and he began using the name frequently ever since.

(His real name is SungJae JEON.)

When he was fascinated by the classic shaving hobby 

and the idea of creating a classic shaving soap just for fun came to him,

he took a break from work and unconsciously drew a logo in the computer's basic drawing program. 

He still uses this logo to this day.

The messy hairstyle and glasses are a reflection of the brand's founder,

and the mustache is fake. He doesn't have any outstanding qualities, but he admires the image of a cool man.

TERRY'S SOAP products aim to share the joy of shaving with shavers around the world.

We value ourselves while shaving,

and love ourselves by taking care of ourselves,

and we also recognize that all shavers and all people are precious beings.

While shaving can be simply a matter of shaving,

we also believe it can be a discipline that involves constantly confronting ourselves in the mirror 

and discovering who we are.

We currently run a classic shaving community in Korea,

and we plan to create a community where shaving enthusiasts from around the world can share their joys of daily life and shaving.
